Recent developments is healthcare, technology, science and business point to the inevitable convergence of genomics with healthcare and clinical information systems. The ever increasing costs and risks associated with the approval process make better selection of subjects and other improvements in adaptive clinical trials vital. The significant growth in healthcare costs and world-wide budgetary pressures make wider adoption of outcome-based pricing models extremely likely. Fortunately, rapid advances in genomic science and data generation technologies make personalized medicine a distinct and profitable possibility in not too distant future.? Taking advantage of personal diagnostics and classification methods requires effective integration of genomic data and analytics with clinical and healthcare system
